DON'T YOU CRY, I'M ON VENUS is a raw and intimate debut poetry collection that lays bare the complexities of gender, identity, and mental health. With a voice that is both fierce and tender, these searing poems offer an emotionally direct journey toward self-love and acceptance.

Praised for its honest and timely exploration of pressing themes, the collection weaves striking imagery with deeply personal narratives, creating a powerful arc that captivates from the first page to the last. Readers will encounter unforgettable works like the celebrated “The Color Yellow” and the deeply resonant “Life’s a Bitch,” alongside evocative line drawings that enrich the reading experience.

Polished and deeply moving, DON'T YOU CRY, I'M ON VENUS is a fully realized vision that invites readers into a vulnerable and beautifully unapologetic world. This is a book that promises to nourish hearts and minds, leaving an indelible mark on those who journey through its pages.

She Who Laughs Last

MAY 2024

A spicy blend of Afro Beats and Deep House gently roasted on the coals of a broken relationship, giving birth to a melodic anthem for a hot (single) girl summer. Take me to the day we met / So I can run the other way and then / I’ll never dare look back again.

Poetry is Not a Luxury

DECEMBER 2022

“For women, then, poetry is not a luxury. It is a vital necessity of our existence. It forms the quality of the light within which we predicate our hopes and dreams toward survival and change, first made into language, then into idea, then into more tangible action.” - AUDRE LORDE
