Our values are rooted in empathy, dope art, a higher power, realness, collaboration,
and public service.
Said Nothing. Media was founded as a space to protect my creations from the [Greedy White Man] at the [Corporate Label] who never made a damn piece of art in his entire privileged life. What a tragedy it would be to lose ownership of one’s only profound material possession: their own art.
Inspired by the decentralized-collective movements in blockchain and Web3, Said Nothing. Media seeks to extend this brave space to a broader community of independent womxn and minority artists who have historically lacked access to the factors of production and a sense of belonging in the industry. We don’t sell our souls here. We align them with our inner God and share them with one another in all of their gory and beautiful realness.
I never asked to be an artist; I was born one. It’s been a blessing and a curse. Media, poetry, art, design, expression, love, anguish, music - these are one and the same to me. I wrote my first poem at 7, the same year I began playing the violin. For nearly 20 years, I have used these tools to express the depths of my emotion and the collective anguish of the human experience -
yet I feel as though I am just getting started.
